Accessibility Statement
A burst pipe does not care how you use a computer, and neither should the page that tells you where the shutoff valve is. NorthBriar aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.
What is built in today
- The entire site is static HTML with semantic structure (real headings in order, landmarks, and lists), so screen readers get an honest document outline.
- No JavaScript is required for anything: every page, link, and phone number works with scripts disabled, and there are no scripted widgets to trap keyboard focus.
- All functionality is reachable by keyboard alone.
- Images carry meaningful alternative text; decorative ones are marked so assistive technology skips them.
- Text uses relative units and reflows, so you can zoom to 200% without losing content.
- Data tables use proper header cells, and wide tables scroll within their own container rather than breaking the page.
- Phone numbers are real
tel:links, so calling for help takes one activation, not transcription.
Known limitations
We are candid about the gaps. This site has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit; our conformance claim is based on internal review during development. Wide cost tables require horizontal scrolling on small screens, which is workable but not ideal. And where AI-generated illustrations appear, the alternative text is the authoritative description of what the image conveys.

Please name the page and describe what happened. Reported barriers go to the top of our fix list, and we will respond to written reports.
