Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 13, 2026
This policy explains what information NorthBriar ("we," "us") collects when you visit this website or call the phone number published on it, how that information is used and shared, and the rights you have over it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
When you call the number on this site. The phone number displayed on NorthBriar is a routing number. When you dial it, we and our call-routing vendor receive your phone number, the date, time, and duration of the call, and the outcome of the routing (which partner answered). Calls may be recorded or monitored by the routing vendor or the answering partner where permitted by law; where notice is required, you will hear it at the start of the call.
When you browse. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no client-side scripts, and loads no third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers. What you read here stays between you and the server log.
What we do not collect. There are no user accounts, no newsletter, and currently no forms on this site. We do not ask for your name, email, or address anywhere on these pages.
How we use information
We use the information above to route your call to a licensed local plumbing partner; to count which pages lead to calls (measured through the routing number itself, not through tracking scripts); to keep the site secure and functioning; to document referrals under our partner agreements; and to comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Plumbing partners. When your call is connected, the answering partner necessarily receives your phone number and whatever you tell them.
- Service providers. The call-routing vendor and our hosting provider process data on our behalf, under their own contractual limits.
- Legal requirements. We disclose information when a law, court order, or lawful government request requires it.
We do not sell mailing lists (we have none to sell), and we have no data-broker relationships. California law defines "sale" and "sharing" of personal information broadly; to the extent that connecting your call to a partner in exchange for referral compensation falls within those definitions, the rights described below apply to it in full.
How long we keep it
Call records are retained for as long as needed to administer partner agreements, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized. Server logs rotate on our hosting provider's standard schedule. We keep nothing longer than we have a stated reason to.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, and receive a copy;
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive categories beyond what a call itself involves);
- Non-discrimination: exercising these rights will never change the service or pricing you receive.
To exercise any of these rights, call us at (800) 555-0173 and state that you are making a privacy request, or email us at hello@northbriarhome.com. We will verify your request using the phone number associated with the records and respond within the timeline the law sets. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of authorization. The full text of the law is available from the California Attorney General.
Residents of other states
A growing number of states, including Colorado, Texas, and Virginia, have comprehensive privacy laws granting similar rights of access, deletion, correction, and opt-out. If you are a resident of one of these states, use the same channels above and we will honor the rights your state's law provides.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because this site runs no tracking scripts, there is no cross-site tracking to disable. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing to the extent one applies.
Children
This site is written for homeowners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the effective date above and describe material changes in plain language on this page. We do not change the rules quietly.
